An interview and some photos with Dad

Last month I interviewed Anwyn for Mother's Day. Since today is Father's Day, we changed the subject and I asked Anwyn about her dad. We even got a few answers from Lily. Below is the text from our interview.

How old is your dad? 30 (Lily said "Too old".)

How tall is your dad? I think we have to measure.

What was your dad like as a child? He was funny.

What makes Dad happy? When I give him cards.

What is your dad really good at? Giving shoulder rides and juggling.

What is your dad's favorite food? Pizza (Lily said "Ketchup".)

If your dad were a cartoon character, who would he be? Diego

What do you and your dad do together? Go on walks. (Lily said "Go swimming pool".)

How do you know your dad loves you? Because he snuggles with me and tucks me in bed.

My dad loves to relax by... working on his computer.

The best thing he cooks is... pancakes. (Lily said "food".)

 When my dad shops he likes to buy... I don’t know, because he doesn’t really shop with us.

My dad's favorite household chore is... work on his computer.

My dad's favorite tv show is... I don’t know because I don’t really watch shows with him, and he might like a grown-up show.

If he could go on a trip he would go to...Arizona.

I had a coupon for a free photo, so this week I took Zach in to the studio to get his photos taken. He was so good and we got some good smiles.

We ended up having to wait quite awhile for our photos, so the studio gave us an extra picture to make up for the wait.

We love our sweet boy!

Blessing Day

Today was Zach's blessing day. He is such a sweet baby and we all love him to pieces (the girls just about literally love him to pieces...). His outfit was pretty special, since he wore the same outfit that Jared was blessed in.

"Nom, nom; my arm is tasty!"

We had a Family Home Evening lesson this week to teach our children about the important ordinance of giving a name and a blessing. As part of the lesson we looked at pictures from everyone's blessing day, and I thought it would be fun to post them here.

Preschool Graduation for Anwyn

Anwyn graduated from Preschool last week. She had a wonderful year and made some wonderful friends. She had three teachers and learned a lot.

She is so grown up!
