One of the main purposes of our summer travel was to gather with the Tanner family to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of James and Ann. The first task of the reunion: family photos! Cousin Carly took the photos, and they turned out really great.

That evening was the 50th Anniversary party at the Seamon's home. Ann, and Becky, and Eliza had done a lot of planning and prep work in advance. Mindy made a beautiful wedding cake. The rest of us all just helped with miscellaneous details that we could. We had a nice dinner (Cafe Rio mexican menu) and enjoyed visiting with extended family. Much of the Wessman extended family came.
The wedding cake re-creation by Mindy.
The four cousins born in 2004.
This is not the greatest picture, but there was an awesome display of photos and memorabilia (I wish I had a better photo of that!). The display was next to a lovely tree brimming with cherries--so at any given point during the party you could find any number of children climbing the tree and getting their fill cherries!
We have to have a photo or two of the food table.
It was a lovely party to celebrate the union of James and Ann (and their posterity)!
