Look out world, we've got a two year old in the house!
We unfortunately got rained out of his official birthday photo session, but Jared was able to snag these cute photos of the birthday boy.
Zach still doesn't talk in too many recognizable words. He does get very
happy when we are able to correctly determine what he is trying to tell
us. He loves airplanes and helicopters and is thrilled whenever we see
one in the sky. He loves to play with his toy cars and build things out
of blocks. He loves the Geo Trax train set, and we pretty much have a
train track set up constantly for him to make daily use of. He takes one
nap a day, ranging from 1.5-3 hours, goes to bed at 8pm and wakes up
between 6:30 and 7:30am (still with at least one waking sometime in the
middle of the night). He likes to read books and color whenever his
sisters are coloring. Actually, he pretty much likes to do whatever his
sisters are doing. He really loves going to nursery at church, and usually starts begging to get there midway through sacrament meeting. He is such a sweet, lovable boy!
Anwyn made him a special badge to wear--"I'm the birthday boy!"
Time for presents.
Zach had two sisters who were very eager to help him unwrap his presents. Much fun has been had by all enjoying his new things (namely, a tool set and a wheelies car race track).
Zach has really been into the Cars movies (and Lightning McQueen), so I made some simple Cars toppers for his cupcakes.
"I'm two!" (and still working on the right amount of fingers).
We sure love this boy!
